Meet Cera!
Cera is an emotional, and sensitive dog who thrives on love and companionship. She experiences some separation anxiety and cries when left alone, but she feels safe and comfortable in her kennel. Since late October, Cera has had no accidents, suggesting she is likely potty trained.
She would do wonderfully in a home with another playful dog to be her buddy, as she loves running and playing outside with canine friends. While she hasn’t been exposed to children or cats, she is undoubtedly an indoor dog who adores being near her humans.
Cera is still learning to walk on a leash and benefits from a harness or special collar to guide her. She’s also working on basic tricks like sitting and giving her paw. At night, she’s happy to settle into her bed, especially if her favorite human is nearby.
She’s a little messy when drinking water but eats well and shows no food aggression or possessiveness with toys. While she’s good at alerting her humans to anything unusual outside (like a furry security system), she’s also gentle and affectionate.
Cera doesn’t enjoy baths much but tolerates them with kisses and encouragement. Loud sprays or sudden noises can scare her, but once she understands they’re harmless, she adjusts well. She has never shown aggression toward strangers but may bark at unfamiliar faces until she gets to know them.
Cera will thrive in a home with a loving and patient owner who enjoys snuggling and has time to play and train with her. She’s a loyal companion who just wants to be part of a caring family.
